Lok Chirag Sewa Sansthan is registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act 1860. The organization has come a long way in serving the needy, oppressed and weak in three districts of Santal Parganas division – Jamtara, Deoghar and Dumka where tribals, Dalits and weaker sections of the society reside in the majority. The organization has been empowering the community through intervention, training and support. Many activities have been implemented in 206 villages in the district of Dumka, Deoghar and Jamtara consisting of 27 Gram Panchayat and 5 blocks to bring about awareness on social issues, unemployment, land alienation, and government welfare measures, skill development to the youth for self-employment in agriculture and allied activities and mini processing and production sectors.
